I recently chose the Best Western for a corporate retreat and found it had its ups and downs. Upon arrival, I was met with an unkempt exterior—overgrown weeds and a few abandoned cars in the parking lot raised my eyebrows. Things looked up once we stepped into our room. The sitting area was comfortable, and the sunset views were a nice touch, turning the mundane into something relaxing. The hotel offers solid amenities for business travelers, including a serviceable 24-hour business center and decent Wi-Fi, which made working remotely straightforward. I appreciated the express check-in/out, saving us precious time. The fitness center was nothing extravagant but had the essentials to squeeze in a workout between meetings. On the downside, the cleanliness left much to be desired—certain areas felt neglected, and I wish the bathroom facilities had more privacy. That said, the staff were consistently welcoming, and the breakfast provided a hearty start to our day. The location is ideal for events at the nearby Jiffy Lube Live amphitheater. While it has room for improvement, Best Western serves well as a functional base for business on the go.
